On March 24 of this year at about 18:20 in the village of Pribuzhie, Domanevsky district of the Nikolaev region, a fight broke out between representatives of the leshoz and the family of the village head of the united territorial community, the police department of the communication of the Nikolaev region said in a statement.

According to preliminary data, local foresters came to the dwelling of the head of the UTO to resolve the issue of obstruction in the felling of trees, for which the forestry has all the documentary permissions. During the conversation between the interlocutors, a skirmish flared up, during which both sides inflicted bodily harm to each other. The car of one of the representatives of the forestry was also affected.

Police questioned the participants in the brawl head - UTO, his brother and wife, as well as foresters. At the time of the fight, both sides of the conflict showed clear signs of intoxication, but did not want to undergo a medical examination.The head of the UTO and his wife filed an application with the police about bodily injuries, which was recorded in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations by entering information on the grounds of Part 1 of Art. 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Intentional minor bodily harm." The other side of the conflict refrained from filing a similar statement. At the moment, police are checking and establishing all the details of the incident. According to its results, the perpetrators will be punished in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine. The procedural management of criminal proceedings is conducted by the local prosecutor's office. So far, the events that have occurred fall under Part 1 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Hooliganism”, which threatens with a guilty fine of up to fifty tax-free minimum incomes of citizens or arrest for up to 6 months, or imprisonment for up to 3 years.
