Winemakers of the Crimean peninsula are at risk of being suspended production. The reason for this may be an acute shortage of glass containers for wine - today there are practically no wine bottles left in the Crimean open spaces.
The fact is that since the supply of glass containers from Ukraine ceased, two companies volunteered to sell bottles to winemakers - the joint-stock company Kavminsteklo and the enterprise Rusjam.
To date, these companies have taken a monopoly position, however, Crimean winemakers are dissatisfied with the work of bottle suppliers and are already tired of supply disruptions. The situation especially sharply worsened after the owners of the Kavminsteklo enterprise changed and the administration was renewed.Aleksandrs Pavlovs, now the head of this joint-stock company, shared disappointing plans: following the economic sanctions of the United States of America, his company may soon cease cooperation with Crimean buyers.
As for the Rusjam enterprise, its employees simply can’t cope with the high Crimean demand for bottles. All this leads to the fact that the winemakers of the peninsula can suffer enormous losses. Especially during the period of tourist activity in the region.
