Based on the information shared by the leading operators of the world market, the Turkish government agency responsible for the procurement of food products recently announced that it is preparing for a global tender for the purchase of barley.
It is reported that we are talking about a tender for two hundred thousand tons of this culture. And, as the State Procurement Agency hastened to clarify, importers intend to contract grain deliveries from November 7 to 25 of this year to several ports at once.
Note that in this case, we are talking about such large Turkish ports as: Deridzhe, Tekirdag, Izmir, Bandirma (each of them is ready to accept twenty-five thousand tons of barley), Trabzon and Samsun (each of which is ready for shipment of twelve and a half thousand tons of barley) and Iskenderun with Mersin, where they expect the adoption of thirty-seven and a half thousand tons of barley grain.
It will not be superfluous to note that Egypt is also preparing for a large tender, which is facing the task of purchasing at least sixty thousand tons of wheat of the most diverse origin, but at the same time, of high quality.
Such information was shared with the public at the Egyptian Government Procurement Agency.
It is noted that under the terms of the Egyptian tender, grain should be delivered to the ports of the importer from October 26 to November 5, 2019.
