Over nine million, seven hundred and forty-three thousand, three hundred and twelve tons of wheat crops were collected by the grain growers of the Krasnodar Territory.
It is noteworthy that this indicator is four hundred seventy-five thousand higher than the intermediate result of the harvesting campaign in the region by the same date in 2018.
Such information was shared with the general public by Andrei Korobka, who is the first deputy head of the Krasnodar Territory Administration. In addition, the deputy head hastened to add that high technologies, which are actively being introduced into the sowing process, help to increase the level of productivity of Krasnodar farmers.
It is also important to add that the quality of the seed stock of grain is increasing every year. Scientists of the Russian Federation are working closely to improve all characteristics, including productive and organoleptic, with the goal of bringing domestic grain to a significantly new level.
Fortunately, the result is not long in coming - today the quality of grain from the Krasnodar fields is an order of magnitude higher than those indicators that wheat showed earlier. And both in matters of quality and quantity.
Currently, the average yield on Krasnodar wheat fields is sixty-five centners per threshing hectare. There are areas in which the yield reaches seventy, or even eighty (Novokubansky district) centners per hectare.
