Disappointing information was shared with the public by the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor of the Primorsky Territory and the Sakhalin Region.
Based on the report, outbreaks of Newcastle disease were recorded on the territory of three auxiliary households in the village of Komarovka, which is located near the border of the Primorsky Territory with China. Feathered inhabitants of farms became victims of a dangerous virus.
At the moment, all three subsidiary farms are recognized as dangerous epizootic foci. However, state veterinary services still have not set clear boundaries for the danger zone, only roughly indicating the location of the Newcastle disease virus. This is due to the fact that the village of Komarovka is located at a significant distance from other settlements.
As for those very private farms of a personal type in which birds infected with Newcastle disease were detected, various measures are being taken on their territory to combat and prevent the deadly virus.Workers of all affected farms, together with residents of Komarovka and employees of the veterinary inspection, are carrying out an intensified campaign to prevent the spread of the pathogen.
