According to the staff of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, the mandatory veterinary certification of milk and products made from it will come into force in the near future.
The Rosselkhoznadzor also noted that in 2019 an appropriate regulatory act will be adopted. But only if the government of the Russian Federation does not just consider, but also approves the draft supervision.
“We will do everything so that by the middle of next summer the milk certification procedure will take effect,” say employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor, who are interested in ensuring that the consumer receives a high-quality product with a guarantee of compliance with standards. Implementation of the veterinary certification should have been done for a long time, the project initiators are sure, but not all manufacturers of milk and dairy products were in a hurry to equip their enterprises with an electronic veterinary certification system.
