Ukrainian manufacturers and exporters of agri-food ingredients for the first time participated in the exhibition Food ingredients for taste Japan at the Ukrainian booth.

Reportedly, seven Ukrainian companies took part in the event:
- Arnika Organic - the largest producer of organic products in Ukraine);
- Agro-Patriot is the leader in the industrial cultivation of garlic in Ukraine;
- Alta Strana is an exporter of organic frozen berries and juice concentrates;
- Barbet - an exporter of organic cereals, peas, soybeans, chickpeas, products from sunflower, flax, mustard, lentils;
- Factoria-Agro - the leader in mustard processing in Ukraine;
- GFK trading group - a trader working with nuts, seeds, beans, frozen berries and vegetables;
- AbiFarm is a snail maker.
It is expected that in 2020 the number of Ukrainian companies interested in exporting their products to the Japanese market will increase significantly.
“A prerequisite for the organization of the Ukrainian booth at the exhibition was the high position of Ukraine in the global market and the significant interest of the Japanese market in the import of ingredients in food products. In the first 2 days of the exhibition alone, the Ukrainian participating companies held 248 meetings with potential importers, ”the agency said.
