This conclusion was reached by Danish farmers. Breeders do not recommend feeding pigs after 9 pm, and in the winter, with a reduction in daylight hours, in order to prevent disturbance of the biological rhythm of animals, experts advise using artificial lighting.
Sites intended for insemination should be illuminated for 16 hours a day, with an illumination intensity of 100 lux. Danish breeders believe that lighting directly affects pig fertilization.
In addition, it is necessary to control the level of air pollution, in particular, dust. Dust inhaled by the animal can enter its lungs and adversely affect the pig’s health.
