In July 2019, a record volume of Ukrainian vegetables, fruits and berries was sold at the Shuvar ORSP site in Lviv. The information pleasantly surprised both sellers and buyers of the Western region, because the prices for vegetables and fruits this year are not low.
High prices did not prevent Shuvar from setting a record for the number of cars that drove in to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables.
According to the information provided, as of July 26, 2019, more than 500 sellers of fruits and vegetables are working at the site of the Shuvar ORSP. Over the past day, 4,500 cars have entered the purchase.
In total, since the beginning of 2019, more than 110 thousand tons of fresh fruits and vegetables were sold only at the venue for trading with automobiles of ORSP “Shuvar”, among which 82.5 thousand tons were vegetables and 27.5 thousand tons were fruits and berries .
Compared to the previous year, the volume of sales of fresh products increased by 15% and was a record for the entire history of the Shuvar ORSP market.
In July 2019, 24.2 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables were sold at the Shuvar ORSP site, which is 10% more than in July 2018. Watermelon became the record holder in terms of sales among fruits and berries, more than 5 were sold , 2 thousand tons. In the segment of vegetables, the largest volume was recorded for fresh tomatoes; 3.5 thousand tons were sold.
