Cucumbers, tomatoes, as well as exotic peaches, date palms and generous peanuts were grown on land that was long ago recognized by farmers as unsuitable for cultivation. And here it is worth noting the merits of an enterprising and purposeful farmer from the Republic of Ingushetia, who was not afraid of difficulties, fertilized the soil and literally gave a second life to the field, which everyone once gave up.
“I decided to take a chance 14 years ago,” Magomed Kodzoev admits. - For a long time I watched the land, which everyone abandoned, and came to the conclusion that not everything was lost. He brought fertilizer into the soil and soon planted raspberry and strawberry bushes. ”
To the joy of the farmer and to the surprise of his neighbors, the bushes not only started, but also began to bear fruit over time. And then Magomed began to experiment more boldly. Thus, a date palm appeared on the field. Exactly one year after planting, she gave the first crop.
Today Kodzoev regularly collects from his plantation not only strawberries, raspberries and dates, but also peanuts, cucumbers, tomatoes and even exotic peach fruits. Magomed sells almost his entire crop, rejoicing that his product is very popular with buyers.
Kodzoyev’s plans for the near future are to complete the construction of the greenhouse and grow fruits and vegetables all year round.
