With a pigsty in the state capital, the Bavarian Ministry of Agriculture wants to improve the image of farmers. The campaign may be provocative, said Minister Michaela Caniber.
Bavarian Agriculture Minister Michaela Kaniber intends to build a pigsty in central Munich, as reported by German media.
According to the minister, the Saustall München project should "again unite the city and the village." The content of the campaign may well be “provocative” to make citizens think, Kaniber announced.

Farmers are currently “deeply concerned,” because they are constantly labeled as “poison poisons, animals abusing chemicals,” said Michaela Caniber.
This project is part of a campaign to support the image of farmers worth 5 million euros and is designed to help balance the image of agriculture and provide the urban population with “direct access to agriculture”.
An extensive information campaign is planned on all channels: from television to social networks and art installations.
However, the most notable project is the pigsty in central Munich. The search for suitable housing for pigs has already begun.
